Krško, June 6, 2016 – Posavje Chamber of Commerce and Industry Best Innovation Award
The company SOP-INTERNATIONAL has applied for the best innovation award presented by the Posavje Regional Chamber of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
The company applied with the innovation HANGING TRANSPORTER FOR HEAVY DUTIES WITH A LIFTING DEVICE – 10 tons, for which it was presented with a bronze award.
The authors of the innovation are Mr Anton Jenžur and Mr Jernej Stanko.
On behalf of the company, the award was collected by Mr Jernej Stanko and Mr Gregor Zevnik.
June 3rd, 2016 – SOP-INTERNATIONAL Technology Centre
IGP Powder Coatings seminar
Swiss company IGP Powder Coatings, a leading producer of powder coatings, held a seminar and a presentation of new, innovative series of powder coatings IGP Effectives in the business premises of the SOP-INTERNATIONAL Technology centre.
This is a ground-breaking technology of production of powder coatings which has numerous advantages in comparison to bonded power coatings. IGP-Effectives can be re-used without the loss of quality, and ensure a homogenous distribution of effect agent.
The seminar was attended by representatives of painting industry from all over Slovenia. After the presentation of novelties and trends, we moved to the Technology centre and observed the IGP Effectives being used in practice. We will absolutely thrilled with the results!

We visited our long-time business partner J.WAGNER GMBH form Markdorf, Germany, where we had a tour around their technology centre and were presented with novelties in the field of manufacture of powder coating chambers.

Experts’ seminar SOP-WAGNER on the topic: Surface protection of metals with powder coating
In cooperation with our long-time business partner J.WAGNER GmbH, we organised an experts' seminar on the topic Surface protection of metals with powder coating. We introduced the participants of the seminar with novelties in the field of powder coating surface protection. Besides our company, which presented technological equipment, the lectures were also given by representatives of the following companies:
- J. WAGNER GmbH from Germany and their representative for Slovenia INVITRA Ltd., Ljubljana (novelties regarding applications and powder coating booths)
- HENKEL Slovenia Ltd., (metal pre-treatment agents)
- CINKARNA Celje Plc. Slovenia (EKOLAK powder coatings, development and trends)
- HERAEUS NOBLELIGHT GmbH Germany (use of infrared radiation in the powder coating process)
The seminar was concluded with a tour around the SOP-INTERNATIONAL powder coating line and a demonstration of the change of colour in the WAGNER automatic cyclone powder coating booth.
The participants were thrilled with the presentation. We would therefore like to thank all the participants for their participation and visit of our TECHNOLOGY CENTRE.
